1. What we collect
Depending on how you use Spirit Street, we may collect:
- Account data: name, email, password (stored as a hash), and saved profile details.
- Order data: items purchased, design previews, size/color selections, order totals, and order status.
- Shipping/contact data: shipping address, email, and optional phone number.
- Design inputs: prompts you type, images you upload, and design iterations you request.
- Technical data: basic device/browser information, logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Cart state: cart items may be stored locally in your browser (e.g., via localStorage) so your cart persists.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Generate and edit designs (including running prompts/images through AI providers).
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Fulfill and ship your orders through print-on-demand partners.
- Provide customer support and communicate about your order.
- Maintain, debug, and improve the Service.
3. AI processing and design generation
When you generate or edit designs, your prompts and (if applicable) uploaded images may be sent to third-party AI providers to produce outputs. These providers may process the data to generate results and help deliver the Service.
You should avoid submitting sensitive personal information in prompts or images (for example, government IDs, medical records, or other highly sensitive data).
If you do not want an image processed by an AI provider, do not upload it or request generation/editing using it.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run Spirit Street, including with:
- Payment processors (Stripe): to process your payment. We do not receive your full card number.
- Fulfillment partners (print-on-demand): to print and ship your items (for example, sharing your shipping address, the items ordered, and print files).
- AI providers: to generate or edit your requested designs.
- Service providers: hosting, database, and infrastructure vendors that help us operate the Service.
- Legal and safety: if required to comply with law, protect our rights, or prevent abuse.
Examples of categories of third parties we may use include Stripe (payments), print-on-demand fulfillment providers (printing and shipping), and AI providers (image generation/editing).
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Spirit Street uses essential technologies to keep the Service working (for example, authentication cookies). We may also use local browser storage to save your cart.
- Authentication cookie: We use an httpOnly session cookie (for example, a cookie named spirit_session) so you can stay signed in.
- Local storage: Your cart may be stored in your browser to persist between visits.

We retain information as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. For example, we may keep order records for accounting and support, and we may keep design records long enough to provide your order and support post-purchase inquiries.

- Access/correction: Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Spirit Street and our service providers may process information in different countries. Where required, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Spirit Street is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we’ll take appropriate steps.
